If you don't read or look any further, just watch this.
Yep. Happy Mother's Day. She smiles. A lot. It probably started a few weeks ago, but now it's all the time. Not unwarranted. She doesn't waste them when no one is looking. Oh she makes sure someone gives her eye contact (could be herself) and a smile...and then she'll give one right back.
She used to look like this most of the time. And let's be honest, she still does.
A few days old and I got some dream smiles.
Then this happened. And she melted me.
Most of her early smiles were at herself. She absolutely loves hanging out in the "Deep Blue Sea" as Griffy calls it, especially watching herself in the mirror. What a girl:). Don't mind the Boston Marathon coverage in the background, she doesn't know what evil is yet (thank God) and her smiling was the only thing keeping me sane while getting updates.
Now, as I said, she smiles all the time. Like every time I make eye contact with her. She even gets distracted when I'm feeding her...if I look at her, she smiles and then she stops suckling, and then I tear up because I feel like she already so wise and she can already show her love to me. What a goof. What a sweetheart. I'm so in love.
In case you want to watch the most recent one again (I do), here it is....Have a great rest of your weekend and Happy Mother's Day to all of the wonderful mothers out there. This is the best part, isn't it?!
