Minnesota hats off to thee!

One of Griffin's favorite words is "hat."  One of Griffin's favorite things to do is find hats in our closets and put them on, drag them around the house and then leave them to go find another hat.  He is now getting a little closer to making phrases with his words and loves to say, "dada hat."  He hasn't quite gotten the "t" sound down, so it's more like, "dada haaaa."

Griffin doesn't discriminate...he likes baseball hats, bucket hats, floppy hats, fedoras, newsboy hats and even straw hats.

He sure does look pretty cute in all types of hats too:)!
This is is favorite hat at the moment...I think it has something to do with his love of golf, wanting to look like Payne Stewart or something.

This was in Georgia over spring break, we celebrated my birthday at Jalapenos and they gave me a straw hat while they sang to me....
Though he does have kind of a love/hate relationship with hats (love to put them on and loves to take them off), I'm glad he'll at least tolerate them since the weather has been so nice and we can use them to block his skin from the hot sun.  We're starting to work on putting things back where he found them, and maybe in the near future our house won't be covered in hat landmines.
