Cute right?
So here's how I did it. The materials list is short and cheep--yarn, empty bottles, and a glue gun. Check. Check. Check.
I called Nate home from work early to help me start my craft by drinking a few beers. Just kidding, we forgot to take out the recycling this week so we had some from last week. I also used an empty olive oil bottle that was in there.
To start the wrapping process, I just secured the end of the yarn to the bottom of the bottle and started wrapping....freestyle, like Eminem.
I repeated with a few different styles bottles and colors of yarn (I want to get a wine bottle covered for some height, but we didn't have any in the recycling, so I guess I'll put that on our to do list this week).
Then I just stuck some twiggy/flowery things in there and put them out on our TV stand, which was still looking a little bare after taking down the holiday decor.
I had a few more so I stuck them on an end table, I think they look pretty sweet.
They were really easy and would be great decor for any theme, because they are really easy to make and remake with some new yarn colors.
