I haven't been to the MN State Fair in about 10 years. I don't know why, it's just not my "I have to go to the fair every year" thing. Nate convinced me that since it would be Griffin's first time at the fair, we had to go.
It was exactly as I remembered it. We ate food that were exactly as I remembered them (corn on the cob, pronto pups and french fries in a bucket). We tried the sweet corn ice cream with buttered bacon topping-it was delicious.
Griffin had a blast, he is definitely a people-watcher! He just hung out in his stroller and our arms watching everything around him, and he especially loved seeing the horses! He was even so relaxed he took a nap. It was great to get back to the fair, but as I imagine our family trips there in the future, I hear cha-ching, cha-ching....the rides at the midway are expensive! Maybe Griffin will be afraid of heights....or maybe he will prefer the lovely smell of the animal barns.
